Hi, I’m Craig!

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in Toronto, Ontario, also known by its Indigenous name Tkarón:to, on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. As a cisgender gay man (he/him), I founded this practice to help 2SLGBTQ+ individuals—and anyone seeking inclusive care—find reliable, affirming support around food and their bodies. My approach is grounded in Health at Every Size and intersectionality, celebrating body diversity, challenging diet culture, and focusing on compassionate self-care and measurable health outcomes such as blood sugars, cholesterol, and blood pressure.

My path to becoming a dietitian began with degrees in Health Studies and Food and Nutrition, followed by a Master of Public Health at the University of Toronto. I’ve since completed a Professional Development Award in Gender and Sexuality and am pursuing a Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions. My work bridges the fields of nutrition science and mental well-being, helping people establish a positive, sustainable relationship with food and their bodies while optimizing their nutrition.

My specialities include mental and digestive wellbeing.

I do not restrict my services to only members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. I believe we all can thrive in safer, inclusive spaces.

Currently accepting clients in: British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Canadian Territories.

Hi, I’m Gordon!

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based out of the territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam First Nations (Vancouver, British Columbia). I am a cisgender, gay man (he/him/his) and this practice is important to me because of my passion to help the 2SLGBTQ+ communities with evidence-informed and affirming care around their eating and bodies. With 10+ years of clinical and nutrition counselling experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to support my clients.

My practice is centered on weight-inclusive, intersectional, and trauma-sensitive approaches. I understand that each person’s health journey and values are unique and I strive to create a positive environment where my clients can explore their relationship with food and their bodies. I focus on practical, holistic, and values-driven nutrition education and counselling while working on measurable health outcomes such as blood sugars, cholesterol/triglycerides, and blood pressure. I also recognize the importance of intersectionality and how factors like ethnicity, gender, age, and ability affect our lived experience.

Professional experiences have included:

  • 10+ years working in clinical, outpatient, and hospital settings
  • Previous diabetes specialist (certified diabetes educator)
  • Motivational Interviewing training
  • Teaching dietetics, pharmacy, and interprofessional students on professional practice, nutrition counselling, Indigenous Cultural Safety, weight-inclusive practice, and queer health
  • Undergraduate degree (honours) in dietetics
  • Master’s degree in health leadership, policy, and clinical education

I see clients from all walks of life, including those who are not from the 2SLGBTQ+ communities. I believe everyone can benefit from inclusive, affirming, and trauma-sensitive health care. I provide services to adults, young adults, and some pediatric clients (contact me to discuss).

Currently accepting clients in: British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Canadian Territories.

Hi, I’m Paul!

I am a nutritionist and aspiring dietitian based on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam First Nations (so-called Vancouver, British Columbia). I’m a cisgender, gay man and my pronouns are he/him/his. I joined Queerly Nutrition as a volunteer to deepen my understanding of queer nutrition and contribute to work that centres our communities.

My interests include nutrition for 2SLGBTQ+ health and wellbeing, gut and liver health, and the gut microbiome. I’m especially passionate about food as medicine and the ways in which whole foods can support chronic disease management, digestive health, and a more connected relationship to our bodies. I also care deeply about making nutrition more inclusive, trauma-informed, and rooted in community care.

At Queerly Nutrition, I support the creation of informational resources, contribute to our quarterly newsletter, and assist with research and program development – all with the goal of making nutrition more inclusive, accessible, and affirming for queer folx.
