Unlock your Potential with Personalized 1-on-1 Nutrition Counselling
At Queerly Nutrition, we know that health isn’t one-size-fits-all, especially when it comes to nutrition. That’s why we offer personalized, 1-on-1 support with a Registered Dietitian who sees and affirms the whole you. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to fit your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.
Whether you’re managing a chronic condition like diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), or disordered eating, working toward more intuitive eating habits, or simply looking to feel better in your body, we are here to help. Our approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and a deep commitment to creating safer, affirming spaces for all bodies and identities.
You deserve care that celebrates who you are. Let’s take the next step together!
What to Expect From Our Sessions
1. Introduction and Goal Setting
The dietitian will ask about your main concerns, reasons for seeking support, and what you hope to achieve. They may also explain their approach and what the session will cover.
2. Holistic Medical and Lifestyle History
You’ll discuss your medical history, including any conditions, medications, digestive issues, allergies, or food intolerances. The dietitian may also ask about your physical activity, sleep, and stress levels to get a full picture of your lifestyle. They will gain an understanding of your culture and values and how this impacts your health, lifestyle, and behaviours.
3. Dietary Assessment
The dietitian will review your typical eating habits, including meal patterns, portion sizes, food preferences, and any challenges you face with eating (e.g., appetite changes, emotional eating, or food restrictions). They might ask you to recall what you ate in the past 24 hours or describe a typical day.
4. Personalized Recommendations
Based on the assessment, the dietitian will provide tailored advice and strategies to help you meet your nutrition goals. This could include meal planning tips, portion guidance, specific food recommendations, or behaviour change strategies.
5. Action Plan and Next Steps
You’ll work together to create a realistic action plan with small, achievable goals.
